Your site is not pinned to one server competing with someone else's runaway script, and there are no artificial resource caps. PHP workers scale with demand.
CDN and edge caching
Static files served from the edge and pages pre-cached, so a visitor in Cornwall gets the same speed as one next door to the data centre.

What we would not sell you
Shared hosting is the right answer for most small organisations and the wrong one for some. Better to say so now than disappoint you in month three.
- A busy shop with hundreds of simultaneous checkouts wants a VPS, not a shared plan.
- Background workers or queues do not belong on shared hosting at all.
- Special-category personal data needs a conversation about where it sits before it is built.
Where hosting usually goes wrong
Almost never raw speed. It is the renewal nobody was watching, the certificate that quietly expired, the backup that was never tested and the mailbox that filled up on a Friday.
Those are monitoring problems, not hosting problems — which is why we watch them for you.
Hosting questions
What happens if my site outgrows its plan?
We move you up, and we tell you before you notice rather than after. The platform autoscales, so a busy week does not knock the site over while the paperwork is sorted. Changes are pro-rated — you pay for the part of the month you used.
Which PHP versions can I use?
Any from PHP 5.3 to 8.4, chosen per site. An old application that will not run on the latest release can stay on an older one while you plan the upgrade — and we will tell you when a version stops getting security fixes.
Is bandwidth really unlimited?
It is not metered. If a site genuinely starts costing more to serve than its plan covers, we will talk to you about it rather than send a surprise invoice or switch it off.
Can I have a staging copy of my site?
Yes. For WordPress it is one click to clone and one click to push back. For anything else we set up a password-protected subdomain excluded from search engines.
Do I get FTP, SSH and database access?
Yes — SFTP, SSH with two-factor authentication, phpMyAdmin, scheduled tasks and Git deployment are all included. Run your own deploys; we are not precious about it.
When is shared hosting the wrong answer?
For a shop with hundreds of simultaneous checkouts, an application that needs background workers, or anything needing root access. That is what our VPS range is for, and we will say so rather than sell you the wrong thing.
